The “Let There Be Rust” Gibson SG tshirt pays tribute to the legendary Gibson SG Custom that Angus Young recorded Back in Black with. If you’re looking to buy a Gibson tshirt, this design features an SG rising from the ashes, bursting from the ground it was buried in.
This SG shirt is actually features our first-ever donated rescue guitar. Let There be Rust started life as a Vintage Japanese Gibson SG copy in the classic Lawsuit era. It came to use as a rusted out SG with no signs of life. After a few months working on it and rebuilding it, the SG was ready to be donated.
The title is a play on the classic AC/DC album title, Let There Be Rock.
